This website is a portal into the wonderful Talossan language, that was created by R. Ben Madison as being the official language of Talossa, a micro-nation he founded on December 26th 1979.
On June 1st 2004, the Republic of Talossa seceded from the Kingdom of Talossa and decided to keep using Talossan as it's official language.
Talossan is one of the most beautiful and complete constructed languages in the world, and has received over 20 years of efforts into it's creation, first by R. Ben Madison, and more recently by several citizens of Talossa.
This web-site is an attempts to extend the scope of the Talossan language beyond Talossa itself, and to get more people interested in learning the Glhež.
It was created in response to Mr. Madison's decision to withdraw copyrighted Talossan language materials from public circulation. The authors of this work are, on the contrary, happy to see the public use it.
The Kingdom of Talossa is a micronation that was founded by R.Ben Madison on December 26th 1979.
In June 1st 2004, 11 citizens of the Kingdom of Talossa founded the Republic of Talossa in reaction to events in the Kingdom.
Today, there are 2 micronations bearing the name Talossa, the Republic of Talossa, and the Kingdom of Talossa.
